Clay County Retired Teachers Association is an organized group of retired teachers who taught or live in Clay County, Indiana. Any retired teacher who is a member of the Indiana State Teachers Retirement Fund may become a member of CCRTA upon payment of the annual dues. Any retired teacher from any state other than Indiana may become a member of this association without privilege of holding office.

The purpose of the Association shall be to improve the status of all retired teachers and to encourage our local Association to be interested in schools and education. CCRTA encourages active membership in the Indiana Retired Teachers’ Association. It is our goal to support legislation concerning teachers’ pensions, education, activities of special interest to retired teachers, and the development of a continuous program of retired teacher welfare designed to improve the economic and social status of retired teachers.
